Fabian Juries

One of the most exciting players with ball in hand, Fabian Juries is a legend on the World Sevens Series and currently contracted to the Griquas Rugby Union.

Known for his quick feet and lethal finishing, Juries played a huge part in the Cheetahs' successful 2009 Currie Cup final run – scoring the try of the season during their round-robin clash with the Blue Bulls.

Sevens legend Juries played for both South Africa U19 and U21 before, in 2002, making his Springboks Sevens debut at the Commonwealth Games.

After two years away from Sevens Juries made a welcomed return to Paul Treu's squad at the end of the 2009/10 season - quickly proving to the world just what he is still capable of with impressive performances in Edinburgh and London.

In 2011 Juries will be a key member of the Griquas squad, offering them experience and speed. The former Stormers star will also be a part of the Cheetah's 2011 Super Rugby squad.
