Jacques Coetzee

Scrumhalf Jacques Coetzee is, despite still being just 26 years old, a very experienced South African No.9.
A junior star with the Golden Lions, Coetzee made his senior professional debut with the Pumas in 2007. In three years with the Currie Cup side he has established himself as a top quality scrumhalf and highly regarded professional.
Coetzee was a member of the impressive Royal XV side which pushed the 2009 touring British and Irish Lions all the way. In 2010 Coetzee made his Super rugby debut, with the Lions, and gained a number of good reviews for his performances in the Currie Cup competition.
Following the 2010 Currie Cup, Coetzee joined the ambitious Eastern Province Kings for the new season - featuring for them in a number of the Super Rugby pre- season fixtures in early 2011.
