Dylan des Fountain

Former Stormers centre Dylan des Fountain grew up in the Cape but began his professional career with the Bulls in Pretoria.

An exciting ball carrier, Des Fountain is a classic outside centre but has also played a number of times on the wing at the top level.

Returning to Western Province after two seasons with the Bulls Des Fountain enjoyed playing both Currie Cup and Super 14 rugby - impressing in both competitions.

Injury hampered his progress during the latter parts of 2009 and the start of 2010 but, after missing the Super 14, he agreed to move to Viadana Aironi.

One of two new Italian Magners League franchises, Aironi are an ambitious side determined to make an impact in the traditionally Celtic competition.

A knee injury brought an abrupt end to his European season but a fantastic recovery saw him return to action. Des Fountain is currently training with the Lions.
