Potgieter signs for Bayonne
World Artists can announce that Jacques-Louis Potgieter has passed his medical and has officially signed for Top 14 club Bayonne.
The 27-year-old Potgieter, who is comfortable at fly-half, full-back or centre, began his career at the Bulls before moving to Bloemfontein where he helped the Cheetahs to a runners-up spot in the 2009 Currie Cup.
He joined the Sharks in 2011, where he racked up 201 points for the Durban- based franchise.
Potgieter will now look to kick-start Bayonne's season, with the ambitious club currently lying second from bottom on the Top 14 table.
